Methods courses

Methods courses include scientific education in various fields to broaden your knowledge in your area of research and beyond. They include courses, seminars and colloquia offered by either the graduate school, the doctoral programs or central services of the University and campus partners.

Opportunities offered by GAUSS and GGNB

Our courses are open to all doctoral candidates enrolled in GAUSS/GGNB and most of them are taught in English. You can find our current course program in

Statistical consulting for doctoral students

The Center of Statistics of the University of Göttingen is offering courses and consulting services in statistical questions for doctoral candidates including advice on data collection, statistical modelling and statistical inference.
