Examination:

Submission of a research paper and presentation of the research.

Attendance on course dates is obligatory!

The seminar is research-oriented but may also include the development and documentation of an IS artifact or prototype. Existing programming skills are not mandatory. Rather, basic programming skills will be learned during the seminar in cooperation with your supervisor(s). A mandatory tutorial will cover the foundations of scientific research.
The seminar paper will be written individually on a topic assigned after the mandatory kick-off meeting. The examination is based on two components: seminar paper, presentation of the paper (and artifact, if applicable).

This course is limited to 30 students.

Please only apply when you can attend all the obligatory meetings. No exceptions (e.g., semester abroad, other appointments, holidays, etc.) will be permitted.
