Premkumar Manalkuzhy Kunhiraman

Premkumar Manalkuzhy Kunhiraman is a Dalit activist and a Ph.D. Research Scholar at the Department of Sociology, University of Hyderabad. His research interests include Sociology of Dalits, Ethnography, Social Theory, and Dalit Politics. At CeMIS, Prem will be working on his Ph.D. dissertation ‘Mapping the Transitional Phase between History and Present (A Study on Wayanadan Pulayar)’ under the supervision of Prof. Rupa Viswanath. The study evaluates the historical roots and socio-cultural dynamics of Dalit identity formation.
