Education

I Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Sciences from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, India in the year 2017 and a Master’s degree in Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology from the University of Göttingen, Germany in the year 2020. Master thesis topic: “Applicability of the pneumatic method for constructing branch xylem vulnerability curves of temperate diffuse-porous tree species” in cooperation with the department of Ecophysiology and Vegetation Ecology, University of Würzburg, Germany.

PhD Research Project

I joined the working group of Prof. Dr. Christoph Leuschner as a PhD student within the framework of the RTG2300. I will study important traits that determine the hydraulic architecture, water consumption and drought response strategies in the stands of Douglas-Fir, European beech and Norway Spruce in their pure and mixed stands by conducting various plant ecophysiological and hydraulic trait measurements.
