Information on the online assessment test

Since the GRE subject test Biology is not longe supported by ETS, the GRE result has been be replaced by an online assessment test provided by the faculty.

The online assessment test is part of the ranking procedure and is placed after the application period has ended on 15th February. It is mandatory for all applicants with a non-EU degree. You will be invited by an email to the participate in the test.

The tests covers basic questions from the fields

• Biochemistry
• Molecular plant physiology
• Microbiology
• and Genetics

Most questions will be multiple choice, but the test may also contain tasks like ordering elements, identifying a spot in an image or similar. The participants have 60 minutes to resolve as much as possible questions. The results of all applicants will be considered for the ranking instead of the former GRE results.
