Professional Learning Community
Fifteen standing members of the Professional Learning Community (PLC) and multiple guests in the fields science education, science communication, primate research, animal science and welfare, and veterinary medicine support our Ö01-Project “Learning dispositions on nonhuman primate research” of the DFG CRC 1528 “Cognition of Interaction”. We collaborate on quality development by evaluating and optimising the methodological approaches of Ö01 science education and communication research, as well as the associated educational materials and outreach activities. Our multidisciplinary PLC work is essential for identifying appropriate ways to address the complex socioscientific issue of animal experimentation in science education and communication.
