English-taught courses at the Faculty of Business and Economics

The Faculty of Business and Economics offers an excellent international study environment for students coming from outside of Germany including both those who plan to complete their entire degree in Göttingen as well as those who plan to visit for a semester abroad.

Our Faculty offers many English language courses for short-term visitors and exchange students for both undergraduate and graduate students.

We provide an overview of the English language modules for each semester.

The course lists are divided in courses for bachelor/undergraduate and master/graduate students. You can find a wide range of courses in business administration and economics - from a focus on international trade, development economics, corporate finance, Asian economics or statistics and econometrics.

Please note: The course lists for the respective next semester will be constantly updated until the lecture period begins, so please check the lists on a regular basis!

Interested in completing your entire degree in Göttingen?

For students interested in completing their entire degree in Göttingen, the Faculty of Business and Economics offers an entirely English-language master's degree in development economics.

Our programme is the only university-level master's programme in development economics in Germany, and is based on research groups from various areas including agricultural economics and rural development as well as economics.

The programme duration is four semesters, and can even be coupled with a double degree programme with Stellenbosch University in South Africa or University of Florence School of Economics and Management or University of Clermont Auvergne Ecole d’Economie (School of Economics).

Students sit in a circle on colourful stools and talk to each other.
