First ICAS:MP Workshop "Chronologies of 'Labour': a Global Perspective" held in January

The first event organised by the International Centre for Advanced Studies "Metamorphoses of the Political" (ICAS:MP) was held in Noida in January. The workshop brought together an interdisciplinary group of younger as well as experienced scholars from both the social and historical sciences. This workshop dealt with the temporal dynamics of 'labour' as a political category in the course of the long twentieth century and included papers on India, Pakistan, Germany, Poland, Romania, Brazil and the USA.
