Education

I graduated with my B.Sc. in Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, U.S.A. in 2018, and with my M.Sc. in Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution from the Georg-August University of Göttingen in 2023. For my master's thesis I explored the effects of water and nitrogen availability on hydraulic adjustments and photosynthesis in juvenile trees of European beech, Douglas fir, and Norway spruce under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christoph Leuschner and Dr. Martyna Malgorzata Kotowska.

PhD Research project

I joined the working group of Prof. Dr. Christoph Leuschner in 2023 within the RTG 2300 to study the heat sensitivity of beech, spruce, and Douglas fir, using both gas-exchange measurements as well as chlorophyll fluorescence.
