Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Firenze, 2021. Topic of the thesis: “Ecological analysis of ant communities along an altitudinal gradient”. Master of Science in Forest and Management of Nature (international curriculum: Global Change Ecology and Sustainable Development Goals) at the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, 2023. Topic of the thesis: " Enhancing Pollination Services of Solar Parks: Potential Ecological and Economic Impacts on Surrounding Agricultural Landscape in The Netherlands".

Research Interests


  • Highly motivated young scientist, with great ambition and scientific curiosity, who would like to contribute to research and lecturing, with a focus on ecology, ecosystem services and climate change.

  • Interested in working in the field of conservation biology and agroecology.

  • Multi-disciplinary approach for the conservation of nature, involving biological and environmental sciences, environmental and ecological economics, landscape ecology and remote sensing techniques.

PhD Research project

Doctoral candidate in the RTG 2300 at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen, subproject 6 "Arthropod diversity and functioning in mixed versus pure stands". Subproject 6-3 "Winter Activity and Overwintering Dynamics of Arthropods and Birds in Pure and Mixed Stands of European beech, Norway spruce and Douglas fir”, with a focus on changes in community composition, functional diversity and trophic niche structure of beetles, spiders and birds.
