Overview

The #myfirstresearchpaper project aims to establish an innovative digital learning module that substantially increases the conversion rate of outstanding student work into first scientific publications. This requires the development and implementation of a holistic concept that includes the structure of the new module, its integration into the curriculum, the creation of content as OERs, and the technical implementation on the learning platform. The project is divided into four phases. In an initial step, a holistic concept will be developed that coordinates the module’s structure, the production of content, its integration into the curriculum, technical implementation, and the transfer strategy. Interviews and workshops will be used to gather the requirements of all stakeholders involved. Based on the concept, OERs will be produced and integrated into the learning platform. The content and structures created will then be evaluated using accompanying surveys and user tests in a pilot phase with master's students in business informatics, and the identified potential for improvement will be implemented. In the final phase, the module will be offered as an elective course. The offering will continue to be developed during this phase as well. At the same time, cooperation with the Business Informatics Association will ensure transfer to the entire community.
