Evaluation of the decentralized events of the Göttingen International Handel Festival 2009

Results of visitor and expert interviews for the venues Adelebsen, Duderstadt, Hann. Münden, Hardegsen, Herzberg am Harz and Wiebrechtshausen

Project objectives: The Internationale Händel-Festspiele Göttingen GmbH annually arranges the Göttingen International Handel Festival. In recent years the number of events increased and there are more events which take place in the environs of Göttingen. The Department of Human Geography conducted visitor and expert interviews for eight concerts on behalf of the Internationale Händel-Festspiele Göttingen GmbH to evaluate the decentralized events of the Handel Festival.

The vistor and expert interviews were conducted by students of a seminar for applied geography during the summer term 2009 (Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Heiko Faust, Tutors: Miriam Hurkuck, Mario Zimmermann).
