Building bridges - for students

Mentoring by teachers

In the course of studies, it can be of advantage to benefit from the experience of academic teaching staff in addition to the peer-to-peer mentoring programme.

The "building bridges" project is therefore developing a mentoring network of Göttingen University teaching staff, which makes personal mentoring relationships possible between individual teachers and students, ideally designed for the entire period of study up to the student?s transition to working life. In this way, the mentees will have a contact partner with experience in the higher education system throughout all stages of their studies, who will also be able to provide sound assistance and advice in later semesters.
