International legal matters (in particular contract law)

With the increasing international networking of the university, particularly in the context of cooperation and projects in the field of teaching, student exchange and, in particular, research projects through to strategic framework agreements with international partners, the need for contractual regulations is growing. Dr Kristina Lovrić-Pernak provides support and advice on the university's contracts with international research institutions, public bodies, universities and industrial partners abroad and other natural and legal persons abroad.

A selection of international sample contracts for research projects is available to employees on the intranet.

In close cooperation with the EU Office of the Research Division, the Science Law and Foundation Department offers additional advice and support on legal issues and contract management of the EU Research Framework Programmes, which includes in particular the negotiation and conclusion of consortium agreements, from the preparation of applications to project implementation and management.
