Jens Eger is an evaluator in the Opinion Monitor for Development Policy 2020/2022 project at the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval) and an external doctoral student at the Chair of Development Economics led by Prof. Andreas Fuchs. Jens holds a master's degree in International Economics from the University of Göttingen and a bachelor's degree in International Economics and Development from the University of Bayreuth. His main research focus is on the allocation of Official Development Assistance (ODA) and on opinion research in the field of development research. The methodological focus of his work is on quantitative (quasi-) experimental survey research.
