Huihui Liu studied Horticulture at Anhui Normal University, China. In bachelor thesis, she worked on effects on physiological metabolism of Hippochaete ramosissimum under cadmium stress. She investigated the states of stress response under different level of Cd in H. ramosissimum. Afterwards she started her master studies in Horticulture (Tea Science) at the Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, China. In her master thesis, she worked on the dynamic changes of metabolites related to flavor and aroma during the process of oolong tea manufacturing and the effects of different spreading time on the quality of Tieguanyin oolong tea based on metabolomics. Since September 2021, Huihui Liu works as a doctoral student on effects of UV in postharvest on bioactive secondary metabolites and quality change of fruits and vegetables.
