Contents
The course provides students with practical problem solving skills and communication of the knowledge gained. The skills for problem solving refer to the systematic identification, structuring, analysis of problems. In the course, relevant tools are presented and deepened through examples with the students. The skills for communicating the knowledge gained refer to the processing, presentation and discussion of a management presentation on a case study derived from practice. Upon completion, students will have acquired the following competencies:
- students have an understanding of how to identify, structure, and analyze relevant problems using a systematic process
- students are able to precisely summarize the findings of the problem-solving process using appropriate and relevant forms of presentation and to communicate them in a management-oriented manner
- students have also expanded their group work skills and developed their communication skills in the context of presenting and discussing their findings
