Eva Apelt M.A.

I am part of the project team of "Re/Assembling Antiracist Struggles" here at the Institute for Cultural Anthropology/European Ethnology and I am responsible, for the coordination of the project as well as the financial structure.

I studied cultural anthropology and religious studies in Göttingen and Marburg and recently finished with my master's thesis. My areas of focus include gender and intersectionality studies, critical as well as historical racism studies and migration studies. I have also gained research experience in two teaching research projects, one on "Dealing with Jewish and foreign artists during the Nazi era" in Marburg and on "Landscapes of Solidarity with people on the move in BiH: An overview of border activism in times of Covid-19" in Göttingen.

Besides work and studies, I am active in the field of political education and advocate for issues around housing policy, gender equality as well as anti-racism.
