Chair of Enterprise Architecture represented at WI 2025 in Münster

The 20th International Conference on Business Informatics (WI 2025) in Münster provided an excellent platform for exchange and networking on topics related to digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and responsible information systems.

Our Chair of Enterprise Architecture was actively represented at the conference: Professor Dr. Christian Bartelheimer and his colleagues organized the workshop “Design Methods for Service Ecosystems in the Age of AI”. In interactive sessions, researchers and practitioners discussed how service ecosystems can be designed using AI and which methodological, ethical, and social issues are at the forefront. In addition, Prof. Dr. Bartelheimer took on the role of track chair for the Process Science track, which focused on current developments in business process management – from process mining and automation to AI-supported process innovation.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the University of Münster, ERCIS, and the organizers of WI 2025 for an inspiring conference that impressively demonstrated the importance of interdisciplinary exchange in shaping the digitalization of the economy and society in a sustainable manner.
