Anna Gasten

Anna Gasten is a doctoral student at the chair of International Economic Policy under supervision of Prof. Dr. Kis-Katos and a member of the Research Training Group “Globalization and Development” at the University of Göttingen (2018 – 2022).

She holds a Master degree in International Economics and Economic Policy from Goethe-University Frankfurt and a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim. In the course of her studies she visited Toulouse School of Economics and gained work experience at the World Bank (WB), the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) as well as at the KfW IPEX-Bank.

Her research interests lie in the area of Development Economics and Applied Microeconomics and comprise Migration Economics, Social Network Analysis as well as Behavioral Economics.
