Friedemann Yi-Neumann, M.A.

Friedemann Yi-Neumann is a research assistant and scientific coordinator at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Göttingen in the BMBF research project „On the materiality of (forced) migration", under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andrea Lauser.
Previously, he was a research assistant in the BMBF research project „Mobile Worlds“ at the Goethe University Frankfurt.
Friedemann seeks to understand migration, forced migration, and life in asylum reception by a material culture and home perspective, moreover by curatorial engagements.
