About

I joined the Campus-Institute Data Science (CIDAS) as the IT manager in 2025. My role here is to provide support for all CIDAS IT endeavours, manage the IT infrastructure and ensure its well-functioning, and provide consultancy for IT-related questions.

With a background in Computer Science, I have developed an expertise in research data management, platform development, and technical support throughout my professional journey. This journey includes years of professional experience as a technical support specialist and developer in a university technological environment, and academic experience, where I have been actively involved in research data management, organizing and leading workshops and coordinating reproducibility assessments of academic publications. Additionally, I played a key role in the development of LiveDocs, a research dissemination platform built with Binderhub, Docker, Kubernetes, repo2docker, and Gitlab CI/CD.

In my personal life, I am a Dungeons and Dragons enthusiast, and my role in that is most often being the Dungeon Master (i.e. the storyteller). What I enjoy the most in this role is that it allows me to exercise my “creativity muscles” story after story.
