Practical Project with CONTIGO Fairtrade GmbH as Part of the Master’s Degree in Management
Practical Project with CONTIGO Fairtrade GmbH as Part of the Master’s Degree in Management: We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our collaborative project. As part of this initiative, five students—Elisabeth Amelie Boronczyk, Lara Günschmann, Luisa Paulovic, Sarah-Michelle Wölke, and Yitian Yang—developed a sustainability campaign for the company.
In close coordination and with comprehensive support from Ralph Wüstefeld, CEO of CONTIGO, and other company officials, the students developed a communication concept to promote an environmental project. The focus was on a product whose marketing is intended to generate additional revenue to fund the project. CONTIGO, a leading fair trade provider in Germany, has long been committed to improving the living conditions of small-scale producers and supports projects such as “Kipepeo – Development in Africa e.V.,” aimed at enhancing water supply in Uganda and Tanzania.
The final presentation took place at CONTIGO's headquarters in Göttingen, where the students presented their ideas to the management. The project provided the students with a tangible understanding of the challenges of sustainable corporate policy and enabled them to develop concrete solutions using the knowledge and skills they had acquired during their studies, which were well received and recognized.
The intensive collaboration within the project team and the direct interaction with our partner generated valuable practical learning effects for the students and brought creative impulses for concrete solutions for CONTIGO. We thank CONTIGO for the excellent collaboration and congratulate our students on their outstanding achievements.
