Research at the Institute for Educational Science

In the fields of research and teaching, emphasis is placed on the areas of general educational science and the history of education, school education and empirical research into teaching and school development as well as research into teaching and learning, socialisation theory and research. For these themes, the institute has received grants for numerous third-party funded research projects.
