Workshop „Developments of Liberal Democracy. Legal and Political Implications of Sexual Orientation and Identity”

On September 21 and 22, 2021, the international team of the cooperation project “Polarization of Society: The Example of the Expansion of EU Directives on Ensuring Human Rights of Sexual Minorities” (PoSoSeMi) is meeting for a hybrid workshop hosted by the Diversity Research Institute. The working groups from Germany, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine and the United Kingdom are meeting in order to continue their joint work on a proposal within the Horizion Europe programme. The proposed research project will study effects of the development and establishments of sexual minority rights as well as of polarizing discourses around LGBT+ topics in selected European countries on liberal democracy.
