Arasch Zandieh: "My new Home"

"My new home" is an integration project of the photographer Arasch Zandieh for refugees in the Bonveno housing estate at Nonnenstieg in Göttingen.
Arasch Zandieh's portraits invite you to look people in the eye. They give refugees a face in the public eye, take them out of their anonymity and tell their stories. Arasch Zandieh wants to build bridges and wishes that he will create more understanding for the living situations of these people. At the same time he wants to show them how unique, interesting and valuable they are. The cooperation in the project gives people additional recognition and generates self-confidence, motivation and joy.
