The department was founded in April 2018. In close cooperation with the Department of Forest Economics we work on exciting research questions concerning

  • Forest management planning and

  • Sustainable Land-use planning


The department aims to develop new economic strategies for forest and land-use management under changing environmental conditions to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
