The intelligent leadership and organizational design of companies is essential to ensure their long-term competitiveness. The aim of the lecture is to analyze practical problems in the field of corporate management and organization as well as to develop scientifically sound recommendations for the solution of these problems.
These problems relate to questions about:
- which stakeholders exist in a company and how their interests can be represented (corporate governance),
- how a company can position itself in the market compared to its competitors (strategic management)
- or which company structures are considered to be particularly efficient (organization design).
The accompanying exercise will enable you to transfer the lecture content to concrete case studies. The use of an electronic voting system in lecture and exercise also supports the interaction and mediation of the content for your targeted written exam preparation.
