Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship for Dr. Elías Cisneros


Dr. Elías Cisneros has been awarded an EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (Global Fellowship). He is a post-doctoral researcher at the Chair of International Economic Policy (Prof. Dr. Krisztina Kis-Katos).

Within the next three years, Dr. Cisneros will conduct research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on global deforestation dynamics in tropical countries at the Universities of Göttingen and Texas at Austin, USA. Individual Fellowships support the mobility of researchers within and outside Europe. The fellowship enables them to carry out a research project at one or more host institutions in or outside Europe. There are two types of Individual Fellowships: the European Fellowship (mobility within/to Europe) and the Global Fellowship (mobility outside Europe with a mandatory 12-month return phase to Europe).
