I am particularly interested in biodiversity research, community ecology and ecosystem functions.
My PhD is integrated in the InterRest project and aims to investigate plant-pollinator interactions on calcareous grasslands at the local as well as the landscape level. Along different landscape heterogeneity gradients, we want to shed light on the effects of connectivity, restoration measures and agri-environment schemes on the interactions and ecosystem functions of calcareous grasslands.
Previously, I completed my Master's degree in Biodiversity and Conservation at the Philipps University of Marburg. In my thesis, I investigated the influence of population size and plant-pollinator interactions on the reproductive success of M. arvense and M. pratense.
