Are you nearing the end of your social science degree and want to be fully prepared? Then come to the ‘Final Phase of Studies Day’ on 6 November 2025 at the Oeconomicum! Here you will have the opportunity to discuss your questions about the final phase and your upcoming thesis with faculty members and advisors: What does the final phase actually involve and what do you need to bear in mind? How can you prepare for your thesis, stay motivated and successfully complete it? And what opportunities do you have after successfully graduating? To give you a comprehensive overview and lots of tips for this phase of your studies, we cordially invite you to the ‘Graduation Phase Day’.

We kindly ask you to register for the individual events you are interested in. Registration will open on 20 October via Stud.IP. Places for each event will be allocated on 30 October at 6:30 p.m. by lottery. If there are still places available after that, registration will reopen on a first-come, first-served basis until the start of the respective event. You can access the respective events on Stud.IP via the link in the programme below.

If you are unable to secure a place in your desired event, please feel free to drop by anyway – as places may become available at short notice.

You can, of course, also take advantage of the faculty's advisory services outside of this event. Visit our open consultation hours or make an individual appointment: to the advisory services.

Please note the table below: Events with a German title will also be held exclusively in German. You can also ask questions in English during the presentation of the Master's programmes.
