Dr. Katharina Beier is head of the Ombuds Office for Good Research Practice at the University of Göttingen. She is an ample expert in ethical aspects of practice and research in the fields of human health and medicine. At the GGG we are working together with her for information of PhD students in order to support good scientific practice and to avoid or to come along with conflicts.

Through practical examples, Dr. Katharina Beier will provide an engaging overview of key aspects of good research practice, including authorship, dealing with predatory publishers as well as current challenges related to AI. During the course, you will have the opportunity to discuss selected case studies and receive answers to your questions—with the opportunity for a subsequent personal consultation.
