Finalist for the "Best International Paper Award 2019" of the Academy of Management

The scientific article "How Core Actors Coordinate Distal Actors in Organizational Routines" by Prof. Dr. Indre Maurer, PD Dr. Hendrik Wilhelm, Prof. Dr. Norbert Steigenberger and Dr. Thomas Lübcke has been nominated as a finalist for the "Best International Paper Award 2019" within the "Organization and Management Theory Division" of the Academy of Management.

The prize is awarded annually by the OMT and honours research papers that are the result of collaboration between authors from different countries and address topics of transnational significance. In this article, the scientists examine sea rescue routines in the context of the 2016 refugee crisis in the Aegean. The final winner will be announced at the annual conference of the Academy of Management. This will take place from August 9-13, 2019 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Prof. Dr. Indre Maurer is the holder of the Chair of Organization and Corporate Development at the faculty.
