The effect of climate and land-use change on diversity of pollinators and pollination services in macadamia plantations and adjacent land-use types

I am interested in ecosystem services and agroecology. Also the conflict of biodiversity conservation and agricultural production is a central subject for me. My PhD is a part of the project South African Limpopo Landscapes Network - SPACES2:SALLnet.
One objective of this project is to investigate the effect of climate change and management interventions on ecosystem services of arable land and macadamia plantations in Limpopo region. My research focuses on the pollination service in macadamia plantations. Therefore I will conduct pollination experiments and record the flower-visiting insects in macadamia orchards.
