The panelists are Prof. Dr. Carlos Sandoval García (Institute for Social Research, University of Costa Rica), Prof. Dr. Georges Eugene Fouron (Department of Africana Studies, Stony Brook University, New York) and Dr. Mulki Al-Sharmani (Faculty of Theology, University of Helsinki). Prof. Dr. Steven Vertovec (Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity, Göttingen) moderated the session.
