M.A. Johanna Privitera

Vita
Johanna has been a visiting lecturer at Georg-August-Universität in Göttingen since 2019 and a PhD student at Humboldt-Universität in Berlin since 2015. Before that, she completed a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin (2011) and an M.A. in Philosophy at Humboldt (2015). She was a visiting student at UC Berkeley from 09/2009 to 05/2010, at Harvard University from 09/2012 to 05/2013, and at the London School of Economics from 09/2016 to 03/2017. During her B.A. and M.A. she held a scholarship from Evangelisches Studienwerk, her PhD is funded by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.


Research Interests
Normative ethics, applied ethics, political philosophy. Especially: permissibility of risk imposition, interpersonal aggregation
