Scholarships for students from developing countries in the development economics master's programme starting 2018

The master's programme in development economics of Göttingen University's Faculty of Economic Sciences has been included in the scholarship programme "development-related post-graduate programmes" (EPOS) of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for the time period of July 1st, 2018 to December 31st, 2025.

As part of this programme, up to eight students of the master's programme in development economics from developing and emerging countries will be supported with an annual individual scholarship and an accompanying support programme. The funding is provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The monthly scholarship will be around 750 EUR per student, in addition to coverage for health, accident, and personal liability insurance.

The target group of the scholarship programme are primarily technical experts and managers from developing and emerging countries with an undergraduate degree and at least two years of professional experience.
