Forschung

Gegenstand der Forschung der Professur für Interorganisationale Informationssysteme ist der zielgerichtete Einsatz von Informationssystemen und digitalen Innovationen. Dazu gilt es, deren Einfluss auf Interaktionen von Organisationen und auf Individuen zu verstehen.

Dies spiegelt sich in drei Forschungsbereichen wider:

(1) Unternehmensstrategien in digitalen Märkten und Strategien digitaler Plattformen
Wie sollten digitale Geschäftsmodelle und Plattformen gestaltet werden? Wie können Unternehmen auf veränderte technologische Umgebung, Wettbewerber und Kundenanforderungen reagieren und ihr Geschäftsmodell entsprechend anpassen?

(2) Wirkung digitaler Geschäftsmodelle und digitaler Plattformen auf den Kunden
Wie interagieren Kunden mit digitalen Schnittstellen, Produkten, Dienstleistungen oder Plattformen und wie müssen diese gestaltet bzw. strategisch aufgestellt werden?

(3) Wirkung der Digitalisierung auf die Leistungserstellung und insbesondere auf die Mitarbeiter
Wie verändert sich das Arbeitsumfeld durch zunehmende Digitalisierung und wie können Umfeld und Interaktionen demnach zukünftig gestaltet werden?
