CGSW33 (2018) – Comparative Germanic Syntax Workshop



CGSW has taken place annually for over thirty years (the history of the conference, maintained by Professor Jan-Wouter Zwart, can be accessed here), and constitutes a meeting of an international community of generative syntacticians working to understand the structure of Germanic languages.

Please note that, as a satellite event to CGSW33, the first edition of Linguistics in Göttingen's annual thematic workshop, LinG1, will take place on 25–26 September 2018. This year's workshop will be concerned with Agreement and Anaphoricity – the invited speakers are Ian Roberts, Giorgos Spathas, and Sandhya Sundaresan.
