Qualification as a continuous process is the basis of the university's lasting success. It promotes professional development, interdisciplinary exchange and networking.
The university's qualification include maintenance qualification (qualification actions that are relevant to current work tasks), continuing education and training (qualification for changed or new activities), re-entry qualification (after a longer absence) and support in training for a new position.
We design and update our offerings in collaboration with managers and experts from various specialist areas in order to meet the requirements in your work areas as precisely as possible.
The qualification offer is directed to all employees of the University of Göttingen. As part of the cooperation with the Educational Academy of the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG), employees of both institutions can participate in the respective offers free of charge. FAQs about the qualification program in 2021
As a workforce for development organization, we want to evolve too. In the future, our offerings should more closely aligned with the needs of the university and its employees. In 2022, we would like to present you a targeted and specific personnel development offer.
Therefore, we will use the year 2021 to develop further offers for internal knowledge transfer together with our colleagues in the central administration, to evaluate the instrument of annual reviews and to put the IT infrastructure on a modern footing. Furthermore, we will be concerned with how to arrive at a good and, above all, well-prioritized needs assessment.
