Sickness/Absence at the Beginning of a Course

Should you be unfit/unable to attend the first lesson of a course, it is imperative to hand in a formal excuse up to 3 hours before the start of the class in order to retain your place.

Should you be absent for reasons of sickness, do hand in a medical certificate at the ZESS administrative office. Do take note of the attendance regulation for ZESS courses.

Asylum in Göttingen - an Initiation to Foster Integration

Since 2013, Göttingen has seen the arrival of approximately 2000 asylum-seekers. The biggest factor thwarting contact between locals and refugees is a mere shyness, shared mutually. ZESS has thus decided to take the initiative of assisting contact, in conjunction with the project ‘Integration in Tandem and Facilitated Networking’ in January 2017. End of Allotment Process for Crash Courses in the Winter Semester 2016/17

The allotment process for crash courses in the winter semester 2016/17 has now come to an end.

Students shall be notified about the conclusion of the allotment process through Email. This Email is solely a notification about the conclusion of the allotment process and shall not contain additional information whatsoever. To find out your results, log in to your Flexnow2 account. A blue question mark next to the course you have applied for indicates that you have received a place, whereas a red cross indicates that you have NOT received a place.

Students may register for courses that still have avaiilable places from Friday, 17th February 2017 onwards (starting from 3 pm) till four days before the start of the first lesson.
