Exposé regulations

If your average (BA) grade is between 2.6 and 3.0 (according to the German system) you have to attach to your application documents an exposé totalling at least 3 pages. In the exposé you have to explain the reasons for studying at Göttingen and to reflect on your previous academic experiences. The exposé serves as the basis for the supplementary oral examination, in which the "subject relation" of your (B.A.) study programme to the Master programme that you apply for will be verified.
The Master programmes "German Philology" and "History" demand an exposé of maximum 3 pages. For the Master programme
"Scandinavian Studies" is no exposé required.

The Master programmes of the Department of Intercultural German Studies are exempted from these regulations.
