The project "Tricho Maize" focuses on a cob disease in maize newly discovered in Germany, caused by Trichoderma afroharzianum. The occurrence and harmful effects of the pathogen are to be investigated, particularly in Germany, in order to be able to carry out a risk assessment and, if necessary, to develop management strategies.
