Short description of research activities in CRC 990:
The research topic of César Pérez-Cruzado is uncertainty analysis of forest degradation in tropical forests. He is developing techniques to evaluate the extent of forest degradation in the framework of the REDD+ projects. His main research interests are in the fields of:
(i) error propagation and uncertainty analysis
(ii) sampling statistics and modelling and
(iii) forest biomass and carbon monitoring.
