Zentrum für Globale Migrationsstudien (CeMig)

Migration ist eines der dringlichsten und komplexesten Themen des 21. Jahrhunderts. Das Zentrum für Globale Migrationsforschung (CeMig) vereint Wissenschaftler*innen des Göttingen Campus aus sechs verschiedenen Fakultäten sowie des Max-Planck-Instituts zur Erforschung multireligiöser und multiethnischer Gesellschaften (MPI-MMG). In interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit erforschen sie die globalen Herausforderungen von Migration unter sehr unterschiedlichen thematischen und regionalen Schwerpunkten sowie methodischen Ansätzen. CeMig stärkt die Forschung und Lehre auf dem Gebiet der Migrationsforschung und etabliert darüber hinaus innovative Formen des Wissenstransfers.
