Certificate programmes at the University of Göttingen
This webpage is designed to give you an overview of the certificates you can gain as part of the key competency options at the University of Göttingen. Gaining a certificate is worthwhile when you want to focus more intensively on an area of expertise, that is, to get a grounding in a field, as a basis for developing sound knowledge or skills.
A certificate can also help to develop your profile and document the acquisition of supplementary skills (not least for prospective employers), and so can be a precursor to career entry. Depending on exam regulations and number of credits, you can take a certificate course as part of the key competency options/optional modules or as a voluntary additional module.
