Studying abroad for a semester, getting to know new cultures and an international environment, earning credits for your degree, improving your language skills and intercultural competencies, making friends with students from all over the world and at the same time gaining that ‘certain something’ for your CV that companies are looking for – a semester abroad during your studies offers all this and more! WiWi students can apply to several partner universities through three different programmes. Depending on the partner university or region you are interested in, you can choose one of the programmes or apply for all three. To prepare, please attend our information events in May and November and our weekly office hours for personal advice. You can apply for three different programmes. Applications must be submitted digitally via the application portal. Please note that you may only register on the portal using your student email address (...@stud.uni-goettingen.de). Applications submitted using private email addresses will be considered invalid. A separate application must be submitted for each programme. Please note the following application deadlines for the 2025/26 winter semester: Our team is offering two information events in the 2025/26 winter semester: The Göttingen International team is also offering an information event on the Global Exchange Programme, to which you are also cordially invited: The WiWi International Study Advisory Service team offers weekly consultation hours in person (Student Service Centre, OEC 1.135) and by telephone (0551 3928801). During the lecture period, additional Erasmus+ consultation hours are offered to answer your questions about the application process as best as possible.
